Spicy gobi manchurian killed man
Mohan, who was bludgeoned by the owner of a restaurant for complaining about a dish of spicy gobi manchurian, supplied water there. Around 10pm, he took a plate of gobi manchurian home and gave it to his children, who complained it was too spicy.
Mohan, who was under the influence of alcohol, returned to the hotel to complain . He got into an argument with Viresh, who was closing the hotel along with Naveen and Ramesh. Viresh hit Mohan, called Naveen and Ramesh for help. The trio hit him on his head till he fell.
AREA TENSE
Tension spread through the area, and police had to shut down all the shops. When Mohan's body was brought to his residence, his friends gathered before the house. However, police dispersed the crowd.
Viresh, owner of Karavali at Indira Gandhi Circle in JP Nagar 1st Phase, and his employees Naveen and Ramesh hit Mohan with sticks and ladles till he collapsed in a pool of blood.
"With the help of people gathered there, Mohan was shifted to a hospital and later referred to Nimhans for specialized treatment. We placed the three accused under police custody," said Sonia Narang, DCP (South). The trio was arrested on Wednesday, after Mohan died at 1 pm, while undergoing treatment.
The case against the three men was changed from the Section 307 of the Indian Penal Code (attempt to murder) to 302 (murder). The accused are expected to be produced before court on Thursday morning.
