  • Gate: India Gate is a stone monument dedicated to the memory of the Indian soldiers who fought and died in the first World War. It ranks as one of the primary places of interest in Delhi. The Indian soldiers was part of the British army and represented the military might of the British empire at the height of its powers. India Gate was designed by Edward Lutyens and took 10 years to complete. The structure of India Gate is a triumphal arch, which is 42 meters high.

  • Raj Ghat: Raj Ghat is situated on the banks of the Yamuna river. Mahatma Gandhi was cremated at Raj Ghat. The place is in the midst of a peaceful garden.

  • Lodi Garden: Lodi Garden was named after the Lodi rulers of Delhi. The Lodis ruled large tracts of northern India in the 15th and 16th centuries. The garden houses the tombs of the erstwhile rulers. Lodi Garden is presently a park and is situated in one of the most desirable real estate zones in present day Delhi city. Lodi Garden represents one of the best places of interest in Delhi.

  • Jantar Mantar: Jantar Mantar is an observatory built during the reign of Rajput King Sawai Jai Singh in 1724. The amazing collection of antique scientific instruments makes it one of the foremost places of interest at Delhi.
