In a role reversal, a woman slapped her husband on Monday night because she was irritated with their scuffles. With the impact of the assault, the man fell on a sharp object on the floor. He received head injuries and had to be admitted to Hospital.
Kagdapith police station officials said, the incident took place at 2 am on Monday. Ramesh Parmar, 35, returned home in Bordi mill compound in Kankaria area and had a fight with wife Madhuben, 32, over expenses.
Parmar was out of job for a fortnight and was hunting for job. However, when he failed to find one, he used to hang out with friends and did not contribute towards household expenses.
"The duo had arguments over the issue but Parmar got angry on Monday and tried to hit her. She stopped him and instead slapped him hard. Due to the impact, Parmar staggered and fell on the floor when he was hit by a utensil and got injured on the forehead.the couple has two children and have been married for over 10 years.
