What would be worrying for India is that Bedian, where an elite police academy was attacked, is just 18 kilometres from Wagah on the Indo-Pak border. The Taliban are virtually knocking on India's door. This reinforces fears that the growing Taliban influence within Pakistan poses a direct threat to India.
It is very unfortunate we have a govt that is weak minded, unable to take strong measures against the rogue neighbour. This is party due to the fear of Indo US relations and more so the Indian and the Gulf countries. More over there is fear of the unknown what happens if Pakis start using the nukes against India in large scale. It will start the war in a big way. Taliban wants this to happen and all are waiting for such an opportunity, India was ruled by muslim fanatics for centuries, destroyed our temples, took away wealth and now our govt is silently waiting and watching what can we do? Why not do a proactive step.. just launch an offensive so that neighbours map will be washed off completely once and for all..
